Beating the 'Beast from the East'

A chilly good morning from the North East UK.

Sue would like to thank everyone who has supported her over the first year since she took over Artist Trading Post. Also, thanks for the response to the Anniversary month of celebrations and all the lovely messages that were received.

For a lot of people they have been having snow days as the roads in some areas have been very dangerous. Sue has managed to get to the post office everyday and the orders from this week have gone out as quickly as possible. If there are any delays in the deliveries that is down to the poor postmen and women that have been struggling on the paths and roads. Well done to Sue.

I've had two snow days and kept busy with ideas that were in the back of my head. I had seen some of the fantastic creations of Vasilis Kontos our Greek friend. He is inspirational working on lots of different surfaces. I had bought a bamboo plate from Ikea and used Prima moulds with the
Hearty Soft clay. Lots of Finnabair products, gesso, heavy body gel, wax, paints and stencils.

Watch out on the website for the reloads of sell outs being restocked. Finnabairs Paper Paste and Plaster Paste, ALL&Create stamps and stencils (a few new to the site), Jane Davenport, Tim Holtz Replacement Non Stick Mat.

I had two projects running at the same time because I'm an impatient crafter, drying time is to long. I was itching to make another Eileen Hull Journal. This one has a felt outside and fabric inside.
Francesca, Tracy Eassons stamp was calling me to add her to the front cover.

Many thanks for visiting and stay warm and safe
