On the move and a special journal
Hello to all.
Firstly, Sue has been moving and on Thursday she arrived at her new place. There are stacks of boxes to be unpacked and new homes found for everything. She has closed the website until the 1st of August and all orders will be dispatched from the 2nd August. Any orders to the UK will have free postage.
This week the new Distress Oxide colours arrived and a couple of restocks as well. So if you have your eyes on anything take advantage if you can wait a couple of extra days more for them.
Last weekend Art Workshops hosted the talented Autour de Mwa (Abs) from All&Create. The weekend was full of the most amazing colour and techniques.
The room was filled with many talented ladies and they all used gorgeous Dina Wakley colours for their journals and boards.
I've had a need to use the techniques we used over the weekend on another journal. Today it's been to warm to do much so I spent the morning with Finnabairs new paints and the All&Create stamps and stencils that fell into my shopping bag over the weekend.

I made sure I decorated the sides as well.
Here is a close up of the journal. I used Finnabairs new Opal paints with a brayer for the first layer.
These are the four colours I used and I love that the react on the black card so differently to the white. It's like having eight colours in four pots.
The stencil is an All&Create with the paper texture paste which gives good depth and the lines are with an old credit card and Dina Wakely paint.
These dragonflies are so cute and the detail stamps really well.
The quote with these stamps says, 'dragonflies appear when Angels near,' which is special to me this week.
